Salary Range: £77,000 - £116,000 + Benefits

Are you an experienced Elasticsearch Engineer looking to make a real-world impact on critical national projects?

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain Elastic Cloud Enterprise (ECE) environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
Design and deploy scalable Elasticsearch solutions for Observability and Search use cases.
Implement robust security, privacy, and compliance controls across Elasticsearch systems.
Optimise system configurations and queries to enhance performance and reduce latency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Security, Development) to integrate and support Elasticsearch across the wider ecosystem.
Drive innovation and automation to improve platform efficiency and maintainability.

Experience Required:

Deep knowledge of Elasticsearch architecture, APIs, and components.
Experience in deploying and supporting ECE in production environments.
Strong understanding of security best practices and data compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Proficient in scripting/automation using Python, Bash, or Ansible.
Comfortable working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and a collaborative approach.
Bonus: Experience with Cloudera, Hadoop, CDSW, or CML is a plus.
