An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a respected and rapidly growing multi-site organisation as a Financial Controller. Main Duties

As Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and publishing timely consolidated management accounts for operational and board use.
  • Overseeing statutory companies and ensuring compliance with VAT and regulatory returns.
  • Leading the annual budgeting cycle across business units.
  • Improving internal controls and documenting processes and policies.
  • Driving system improvements and automation in our ERP system and invoicing processes.
  • Managing the finance team across all accounting functions.
  • Monitoring cash flow and improving debtor management with the credit controller.
  • Supporting operational management with financial performance insights.
  • Coordinating external audits and submitting bank covenant information.

Location / Office / Culture

This role is based in Warwick with a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 from home. What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or have relevant experience.
  • Have experience leading finance functions and audit processes.
  • Demonstrate a hands-on approach to financial management.
  • Be confident working with senior stakeholders and influencing business strategy.
  • Show a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Possess strong Excel skills and ideally Sage knowledge.
