Job Purpose:

As a Line Leader, you will have operational responsibility to deliver the daily plan. Leading a small production team, you will work with the Area Leader to create a positive working environment where your team can support the site's overall strategy.

You will achieve this by managing a production line that manufactures products exceeding customer expectations while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and food safety. You'll ensure targets are met on time and within budget - all while operating safely and efficiently.

£14.74 per hour

Overtime: £22.11

Working hours: 7AM - 7PM

Shift: 4 on / 4 off

Immediate starts following registration and induction

Key Responsibilities:

Provide guidance and leadership to the production line team

Ensure compliance with all departmental systems, processes, and procedures

Maintain consistent quality and production standards

Deliver smooth and efficient production runs

Uphold the highest health and safety standards

Minimize waste and uphold efficiency standards

Fulfil other duties as required and any reasonable requests from management

Comply with Health and Safety legislation and site-specific regulations

Collaborate with your employer to maintain a safe working environment

Avoid misuse of any health, safety, or welfare provisions

Adhere to company policies, site rules, and any instructions given by management

Respect and uphold the ethical and conduct standards expected by our client

Support environmental and energy efficiency efforts in line with site expectations

Work with site management to promote a positive safety, quality, and ethical culture

Attend any training required to support your role and responsibilities

Requirements, Experience, and Person Specification:

Completion of group and site induction

Level 2 Health & Safety awareness

Understanding of relevant risk assessments and safe working procedures

Familiarity with hazard identification and near-miss reporting

Level 2 Food Safety certification

Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

Strong team leadership and engagement skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal style

Strong numeracy and problem-solving skills

Conflict management abilities

Appreciation for the importance of quality standards

Ability to read, understand, and follow technical specifications
