My client in Failsworth, Manchester is currently in need of a Sheet Metal Worker/Welder Fabricator due to ongoing project expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components with precision to meet high-quality standards.
* Perform TIG and MIG welding on various metals as required for the job.
* Accurately read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering schematics to complete tasks.
* Carry out quality checks and ensure all work complies with company and client specifications.
* Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to cut, bend, and shape metal as necessary.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve project deadlines and maintain a clean and safe workspace.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker with welding skills (both TIG and MIG).
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Strong understanding of fabrication techniques and welding processes.
* Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:15 PM / Friday: 7:30 AM - 1:30 PM
Location: Failsworth
Salary: £16-£19 per hour + Overtime
