We are currently looking for a talented Legal Advisor to join our Sheffield office to provide legal advice as part of our Free Legal Advice service.

About the role...

• Proactively capture all relevant information and provide general legal advice on a wide range of topics e.g., Family, disputes and consumer law.
• Provide Union members with advice, guidance, and support related to a range of legal issues or concerns and responding to calls, emails and messages in a professional and timely manner.
• Conducting legal research.
• Producing written materials such as fact sheets which can be sent to Union members, confirming the advice given.

About you...

• Attention to detail to provide a high standard of client care to each client.
• Experience in giving legal advice, both over the phone and email would be essential.
• Motivation for keeping abreast of key changes in the law and have an ability to share knowledge proactively with other colleagues.
• Be able to show empathy and understanding, providing a professional legal service with a personal touch.
• Good working knowledge of the Microsoft package e.g., Word, Excel and Outlook.
