Quality Inspector Required!

Our client is a global, market leader in the design, development and manufacturing of drinks dispensing products.

Due to their ongoing growth, they now have a requirement for a Quality Inspector to join their team.

Quality Inspector - Position Overview

• Carry out goods inward inspection of materials from suppliers, ensuring compliance to design specifications and contractual requirements.
• Process and report reject parts and correspond with suppliers to fulfil CAR reports.
• Monitor manufacturing and assembly of our internal operations to ensure quality standards are maintained and to introduce product and process improvements.
• Quality inspection of incoming materials in accordance with the quality system & procedures
• Quarantine, inspection, and processing of non-conforming materials.
• Raising Non-conformance Records within the system where appropriate.
• Monitor first-off operator inspection to ensure parts are machined to drawing.
• Polishing inspection to ensure the desired finish is being achieved.
• Inspection of flatbed print, roll fed digital print, over doming, lamination and wrapping.
• Inspection of finished goods built on the shop floor and in print room.
• Identifying and implementing product and process improvement
• Prepare quality documents for goods-in inspection and SOPs for products and assembly.
• Receipt and inspection of customer returned products.

Quality Inspector - Position Requirements

• Engineering background and experience in a quality related role
• Ability to read and interpret component and assembly drawings.
• Understanding of measuring and inspecting metal parts.
• Experience with production process evaluation and improvement.
• Some understanding of using basic measuring equipment.
• Willing to learn.

Quality Inspector - Position Remuneration

• Salary: £28K-£33K
• Hours: Mon - Thurs 8am - 4.30pm Friday 8am - 1pm
• Pension
• 20 days holiday + Bank
