Your New Role
We are looking to appoint you as to assist pupils at our partner school in Stockport. As a SEND specialist, you will work directly with the school's supportive team of learning and behaviour specialists who are committed to securing excellent progress for every student.
This full time SEND Teaching Assistant role will see you undertaking genuinely rewarding work such as one-to-one support with key pupils, small group intervention and pastoral support working with pupils who have moderate learning and/or behavioural difficulties, such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia and social emotional mental health challenges.
What You Need
For this SEND Teaching Assistant role, you should be someone who has experience working within a school or education environment and is looking for a new challenge, or someone who has recently graduated and may be looking to gain some school-based experience before pursuing a career in education. In either case, you should have experience working as SEND support.
It would also be advantageous for you to have a passion for education and supporting young people; for you to have a flexible working attitude; and for you to be willing to learn and undertake CPD courses.
