Do you have experience as a TIG Welder?

Are you working with Aluminium and can weld from 0.5mm up to 10mm? 

We are recruiting a Welder/Machine Operator to join the team.

The Welder should have a good understanding of TIG welding up to 10mm, 

In return, we are offering a competitive salary, depending on experience, plus 25 days holiday + bank holidays, 13:00 finish on a Friday, Christmas shut down.

This is a full-time, permanent role. The hours of work will be Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30, Friday 08:00 - 13:00

Reporting to the Shop Floor Manager your responsibilities will include:

Welding different thicknesses from 1mm to 10mm, from punctured and formed parts (aluminium to galv)
To use the Guillotine and roll former when required
To be able to set up all of the machines under the supervision of the Machine Operator/Setter
The ideal candidate:

Ability to read and interpret drawings (3rd angle drawings).
Experience in setting and operating CNC break Presses
Experience of using Production Machines and setting.
Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
