SEO & Digital Growth Manager | Colchester area (Hybrid) | 2-3 days in office

A growing digital development and growth agency is looking for an SEO & Digital Growth Manager to join its expanding team.

The company works with organisations, helping them improve their digital performance through web development, automation and performance-focused marketing.

You'll be working alongside a team small around 8 others, including developers, designers and digital specialists to deliver measurable improvements in search visibility, traffic and conversions.

The Role

This is a client-facing SEO role where you'll manage a portfolio of client accounts, lead strategy discussions and coordinate optimisation work to improve organic performance.

The role focuses on technical SEO, strategy and growth planning, working closely with developers and designers rather than purely content production.

It's ideal for someone who wants to move beyond pure SEO execution and take ownership of client growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage a portfolio of SEO clients

* Lead monthly performance and strategy meetings

* Conduct technical SEO audits and keyword research

* Develop SEO roadmaps and prioritise optimisation work

* Monitor key KPIs including traffic, rankings and conversions

* Deliver clear reports and strategic recommendations

* Identify opportunities to expand client work

Key Experience & Skills

* Experience in SEO or digital marketing

* Managing client accounts or leading client meetings

* Strong understanding of: Technical SEO, On-page optimisation, Keyword research and site audits

* Experience with tools such as: Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), Ahrefs, SEMrush or similar

* Ability to explain SEO concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

* Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms - beneficial
