Your local Newbury based Primary school are eagerly seeking additional HTLA - KS2 support staff. With a larger-than-anticipated intake for September 2024, they're committed to preserving their outstanding education skills in Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6. !

The Newbury class teachers work in cohesion with one another, ready for you to join. You will be required to be another eyes and ears when looking after the students.

Salary: £83 - £90 per day (experience lead)

Check you meet the following criteria for a HLTA:

Possess excellent timekeeping skills to stay on schedule for one-hour lessons.
Able to adhere to plans and conduct lessons upon the Class Teacher's request.
Confident in the KS1/KS2 curriculum.
Must hold a relevant HLTA qualification (required).
Able to provide high-quality support to Newbury teachers and pupils.
Capable of thinking on your feet, which is crucial for supporting SEN students or those not yet identified.

Schedule for the HTLA - KS2 role based in Newbury:

Full time 08:30am - 3:30pm
Monday to Friday
No weekends

Experience:

3 years working with children in a Teaching Assistant setting.
SEN training/certifications is desired.

Licence/Certification:

Driving Licence (preferred)
HTLA - KS2 qualification
Team Teach (preferred)
