The School and the Role

A welcoming mainstream primary school is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, with a strong focus on autism. The school takes great pride in its role as a true community resource, offering a safe and nurturing environment for vulnerable children and families. As part of this commitment, it benefits from a specialist resourced autism base, providing targeted support for pupils with an ASC diagnosis. This role is an ongoing temp to permanent position for the right candidate.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with autistic children, helping them access learning, develop socially and emotionally, and feel included in every aspect of school life. If you are patient, adaptable and passionate about supporting neurodivergent learners, we would love to hear from you.
