We are recruiting for an experienced Locum Social Worker to join a Cared for Children Team. This role focuses on managing complex cases and ensuring high-quality, child-focused support.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a caseload of complex cared-for children cases
• Completing high-quality assessments and ensuring effective risk management
• Developing and implementing robust care plans that promote stability and positive outcomes
• Working closely with children, families, carers, and multi-agency partners
• Contributing to service planning, using your frontline expertise to shape and improve practice
• Ensuring all work meets statutory requirements and best practice standards

• Minimum 3 years' experience within a Cared for Children / LAC team
• Strong assessment, risk analysis, and care planning skills
• Ability to manage complex cases with confidence and autonomy
• Excellent partnership working and communication skills
• SWE registration and a Social Work degree/diploma
