Veritas Education is working in partnership with a friendly and welcoming primary school in Lancaster who are seeking a Teaching Assistant (TA) to join their team immediately.

Role Overview

This is a part-time, afternoon role supporting pupils in Key Stage 1 and then helping to supervise and engage children in the school's after-school club.

Hours: Lunchtime until 5:30pm
Days: Monday to Friday
Contract: Term time only
Start date: Immediate

Key Responsibilities

Supporting pupils in KS1 classrooms during the afternoon
Assisting the class teacher with learning activities and behaviour support
Helping to create a fun, safe, and engaging environment in the after-school club
Supervising children during activities, play, and transitions

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience working with children (school or childcare setting preferred)
A positive, patient, and reliable approach
Confident supporting young learners in a primary school setting
Able to commit to the role on a long-term, term-time basis
