Hygiene Operative

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Hygiene Operative to join our well-established client based in Bredbury (SK6). This is a fantastic opportunity offering genuine opportunities for career progression.

Shifts

• Monday to Sunday
• 4–5 shifts per week
• 06:30 – 15:30

Rates of Pay

• £13.09 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Hygiene Operative, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Washing tubs and cleaning washrooms
• Mopping floors and maintaining hygiene standards
• Cleaning production machinery, conveyor belts, and equipment (including dismantling and reassembling where required)
• Carrying out deep cleaning of production areas, including floors, walls, and high-level surfaces
• Following strict Cleaning Instruction Procedures (CIP)
• Ensuring compliance with food safety and health & safety regulations
• Disposing of waste materials and chemicals in line with environmental policies
• Completing cleaning logs and compliance documentation
• Safely using and storing cleaning chemicals and PPE
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Hygiene Operative, you will need:

• Basic level of spoken and written English
• Reliability and punctuality
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Positive and proactive attitude

Desirable Experience

• Previous hygiene or industrial cleaning experience

Training Provided

• Full training provided with ongoing support throughout your assignment
