Job DescriptionAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Aircraft Planning Specialist to join a dynamic and fast-paced aviation maintenance organisation in Cardiff. This role is pivotal in coordinating and managing aircraft maintenance planning under Part 145 regulations, ensuring efficient project delivery and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Co-chair aircraft pre-input meetings with the Maintenance Manager
• Review incoming work scopes in collaboration with Sales
• Plan and coordinate accepted work packages
• Create and stage work orders for aircraft inputs
• Project manage aircraft inputs with material and production teams to ensure efficient turnaround times
• Liaise with CAMOs regarding work packages, work orders, and project progress
• Manage technical records and publications
• Represent the planning function in global planning and sales meetings

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in airline or MRO maintenance planning (3rd party MRO experience advantageous)
• Proven managerial experience with the ability to lead, train, and motivate a team
• In-depth knowledge of EASA and CAA Part-M and Part-145 legislation
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with MS Project is advantageous
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
