Medacs Healthcare are proud to be working with a leading provider of specialist hospital at home care.

Working in line with the company ethos to deliver excellent care to patients being treated in their own homes rather than a hospital setting, we are currently recruiting experienced community Registered Nurses in the Norfolk area.

You will be responsible for contributing to the holistic assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care.

  • Provide health and social care in the patient's own home to promote faster recovery from illness, prevent unnecessary hospital admissions, support timely discharge from hospital and maximise independent living
  • Observations and recording in line with the company systems.
  • Initiate health promotion activities as appropriate
  • Participate in risk assessment and promote the safety and wellbeing of patients and carers.

Qualifications and experience

  • At least 3 years post registration experience
  • Implement and evaluate care and treatment in agreement with the patient and as defined in the care plan.
  • Experience in a similar role and confidence to work independently in the community.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with patients.
  • This is a mobile role so a full driving licence, relevant insurance and access to a car is essential.
  • Canulation and Phlebotomy administration of IV drugs, Picc Line trained. Experience of wound care and wound management.

The Benefits

  • Excellent rates of pay
  • Paid mileage from home (at 45p/mile)
