Long Term Futures has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and Level 3 qualified EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Lambeth.

The role focuses on supporting Nursery and Reception pupils, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment where early learners can thrive. You will play a key role in delivering the EYFS curriculum while supporting the physical and emotional wellbeing of the children.

Responsibilities

Supporting the delivery of the EYFS framework through engaging, play-based learning.
Leading small group interventions in phonics and early numeracy to bridge attainment gaps.
Monitoring and documenting pupil progress to assist the Class Teacher with daily assessments.
Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of pupils, including assisting with personal care and transitions.
Maintaining a high standard of health and safety within both the classroom and outdoor learning areas.

Essential Candidate Requirements

Level 3 Qualification (or above) in Supporting Teaching and Learning or as an Early Years Educator.
Proven experience specialising in an EYFS or Nursery setting.
In-date Paediatric First Aid Certificate is highly desirable for this position.
A warm, patient, and proactive approach to early childhood education.
Must hold a valid DBS or be willing to apply for one.
