Our client an established and successful service sector business based in West Yorkshire just off the M62 are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join the growing team there.

As a cutting edge manufacturing business with global focus they now need this additional Management Accountant appointment to support the finance function going forwards.

This role will be varied in the small team and add value across the finance function, it will then develop and evolve into a rounded role within the team, adding stakeholder management of the teams once embedded in post.

This Management Accountant role has the following key responsibilities -

Managing the period end management accounts reporting processes to ensure accurate MI
Drive key analysis of performance and MI to support the strategic decision making process
The production and ownership of monthly stock valuation
Calculation and management of monthly stock provision
Managing costing and margin analysis
Supporting the budget and forecasting process, reporting vs actual periodically
To manage the income and cash flow
Support the year end and statutory accounts reporting process

You will be qualified accountant or studying towards qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) who can demonstrate a strong core accounting skill set in your experience to date.

With excellent and varied accounting experience you will have the ability to coordinate across teams and departments. You will have excellent excel and office IT skills coupled with a tenacious and progressive approach to your workload.
