Children's Support Worker - 1:1 Classroom Support (Full Time)
Location: Blackburn

Are you passionate about helping children reach their full potential? Do you want to make a real difference in a young person's life every day? We are looking for a dedicated Children's Support Worker to join our welcoming school community in Blackburn.

About the Role:
We are seeking a caring, proactive and patient individual to provide 1:1 support for a pupil within a classroom setting. You will work closely with teaching staff to help the child engage in learning, develop confidence and achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored 1:1 support to a pupil during lessons and activities

Assist with learning tasks, communication and emotional regulation

Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff to implement support plans

Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour

Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff

What We're Looking For:

Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school or care setting

A compassionate, patient and enthusiastic approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Reliability and a genuine passion for supporting children's development

(Desirable) Experience supporting children with SEND

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
