The Role
Reporting to Technical Manager, to provide site inspection and building and construction expertise relating to the risk management of construction sites registered for our clients Products, relating to both residential and commercial developments
The Requirements
* Carrying out site inspections on allocated developments to ensure work is carried out in adherence to technical standards, Building Regulations and associated legislation
* Providing timely and accurate technical reports
* Maintaining good working relationships with builders and developers providing technical support
* Carrying out Developer assessments on completion and recommend any improvements identified during course of construction
* Working with colleagues and management to ensure all technical standards are maintained in accordance with the technical manual
* Build and Develop the South West region working in conjunction with the allocated sales representative

Qualifications & Experience
* HNC/HND or (S)NVQ Level 4 in a construction related discipline.
* Accredited (or actively working towards) RICS/CABE/CIOB status or NVQ Level 6 or above
* Knowledge of Building Regulations and other relevant construction standards.
* Understanding of general insurance principals and terminology (desirable).
* Understanding of Building Regulations and associated legislation.
* Working knowledge of MS Outlook (email), MS Word and MS Excel.(preferable
