Registered Manager (Supported Living)
We’re looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead on the delivery of supported living services for an independent provider. This is a great opportunity for a capable Registered Manager who appreciates having full autonomy and enjoys the challenge of developing services that require improvement. You’ll work through an action plan addressing areas that have been identified for improvement and ensure that the services get back on track to delivering brilliant support. They support adults with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs across 3 supported living properties, regulated by CQC and commissioned by the Local Authority.
On offer is a salary of circa £45,000 with a bonus scheme in place too.
As a Registered Manager you’ll….
- You’ll have the overall responsibility for managing the supported living services, ensuring that they meet CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
- Currently they require improvement, so you’ll work to address the areas that have been identified and put systems and processes in place to ensure that in the long-term care and support is always delivered in
- They have capacity for 16 services users across 3 properties, but currently are supporting 12 people. You’ll develop relationships with the local authority commissioners and work closely wither them and social workers to ensure that new referrals to the service come in and that that they are suitable matched to the service
- In the future there is the opportunity to expand their services by increasing capacity with additional properties.
- You’ll lead and support the staff team, ensuring regular supervision, appraisal and training needs are met.
- Be responsible for the recruitment and training of new support staff when needed.

- You’re an experienced Registered Manager with a background in leading supported living services, residential care for adults with learning disabilities and/or mental health needs. We’re happy to talk to people with a domiciliary care background too that have significant experience with the client group.
- You enjoy problem solving and developing services that are under pressure and need improvement. You’ll be good at leading staff, motivating and encouraging people to be the best they can be.
- You have good knowledge of CQC standards
- You’re a driver with your own vehicle
