Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to pupils with SEND (e.g., ASC, MLD, SEMH, ADHD). Work collaboratively with the SENCO, support staff, therapists, and families. Adapt teaching strategies to support EHCP targets and personalised learning plans. Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment. Track and assess progress, providing clear and effective feedback. Foster strong relationships built on trust, patience, and consistency. About You Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience working with SEND pupils in mainstream or specialist settings. Strong behaviourskills and a calm, proactive approach. Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
