Academics is recruiting a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a specialist SEMH school in Crawley. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a supportive and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead small group sessions and deliver targeted learning support

• Assist with planning and delivering lessons

• Support students' emotional well-being, behaviour, and engagement

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Collaborate with teachers, SEN staff, and therapists

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or strong TA experience with progression

• Experience supporting students with SEMH or SEN

• Confident leading groups and adapting support to student needs

• Patient, resilient, and proactive mindset

• Full UK driving licence

• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
