HR Manager - Manufacturing Sector - HIGHLY SKILLED ENGINNERING.

A hugely successful niche manufacturer of mechanical clutch solutions that are used in the Marine, Power System and Industrial Process environments seeks a hands-on HR Manager to ensure ongoing employee relations are effectively managed.

Based in Surrey - this is an office based role.
£55-60k Basic salary plus packageOUR CLIENT WILL CONSIDER PART TIME OPTIONS FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE (3-4 DAYS)

The HR manager will be responsible for all aspects of HR, they will (in effect) be the entire HR function and as such work closely with the senior leadership team. As an expert in HR matters you will consult across business function to ensure adherence and act as a key contributor to developing, maintaining, and improving employee relations. The majority of workforce are engineering focused. The business has two UK sites and employs around 80 skilled workers.

As a time-served and experienced HR professional (either HR Manager, HR Business Partner, HR Specialist or similar), you'll ensure our client treats employees in a fair, safe, legal and consistent manner, and is compliant with current UK legislation at all times. Your key responsibilities will span -

Recruitment & selection.
Payroll Management
Performance and absence management.
Learning & development.
Succession planning.
Compensation and benefits.

Candidate Requirements -

WITH EXPERIENCE IN A MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT THE APPOIINTED PERSON WILL HAVE 3+ years' experience in a fast-moving Mid-Senior HR role. They will be very hands on and able to build strong stakeholder relationships and manage HR through evolution rather than revolution…
