Position Description PSS, Inc. is actively seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to join our growing team located in McLean, VA. The candidate will be expected to support an enterprise environment, and will execute tasks in the following areas: change request, trouble ticket, routine operations and maintenance, and server build. Clearance Requirements TS/SCI with Polygraph (Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Accordingly, US Citizenship is required.) Position Requirements Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Equivalent Experience 7-10 years of demonstrated understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) 7-10 years of demonstrated experience with requirements analysis 7-10 years of demonstrated experience in building and maintaining strong working relationships with users, stakeholders, and development teams 7-10 years of demonstrated ability to multitask, as this team serves multiple projects, and ability to juggle priorities with ease Roles & Responsibilities We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst, who under minimal direction performs as a fully experienced Requirements Manager. As a Systems Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to elicit, analyze, validate, specify, verify, document, manage the needs of the project stakeholders, including customers, and taking into consideration the possibly of conflicting requirements of the various stakeholders. Additionally, you will serve as the focal point for creating communities of interest, as defined by the customer, and for items, including new data to ingest into the analyst tool in such a way that it is easily searched and understood. Your responsibilities will include the following: Must be able to communicate effectively with customers Possess strong written communication skills to produce project guidelines Ability to evaluate project progress and evaluate information to ensure that the project is progressing, as expected Possess research skills to ensure there is a complete picture of the customer’s needs Managing one or more activities and tasks within a project and/or program Working closely with the Division Chief, Branch Chiefs, and Cross Divisions to define and document future requirements Possess expertise in briefing presentations regarding new work for the Division to fulfill PSS is committed to the diversity we bring to the marketplace by being an EEOC/AA employer who is committed to hiring a diverse team of professionals to provide world class services and products aimed at exceeding our customer’s expectations.
