Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Systems Engineer to join a global engineering manufacturer in the packaging & automation industry.
 
The ideal Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Systems Engineer will be both electrically and mechanically competent with some knowledge of programming and be located in the Midlands or surrounding areas.
 
The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Systems Engineer will carry out pre-planned installations and commissioning of a wide range of packaging machinery including strapping machines and stretch wrapping machines.

Carry out pre-planned installations and commissioning on a wide range of packaging machinery including strapping machines, stretch wrapping machines and associated electrical/mechanical equipment at customer sites
Liaise with various engineering departments
Product training provided
Will ideally be based in in the Midlands or surrounding areasRequirements:  

Experience as a Service Engineer, Field Service Technician, Systems Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Service Technician or similar.
Field service background in electrical and/or mechanical engineering.
Full UK driving license.
A technical electrical/mechanical engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, degree or would be advantageous.
Ideally be based in the Midlands or surrounding areas
