Are you a passionate Humanities Teacher eager to inspire the next generation of global thinkers and responsible citizens?

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and versatile Humanities Teacher to join a welcoming school in Hull from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced practitioners and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to grow in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Role Overview:
As a Humanities Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across subjects such as Geography, History, and RE at all key stages. You'll encourage students to explore human experiences, cultures, and societies with curiosity and critical thinking.

Responsibilities for Humanities Teacher:

Teach a range of Humanities subjects across all key stages.
Deliver well-planned, inclusive, and differentiated lessons.
Monitor and assess student progress to raise achievement.
Support the development of the Humanities curriculum.
Encourage debate, enquiry, and a deeper understanding of the world.
Candidate Requirements:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
Specialism in a Humanities subject (e.g. Geography, History, RE).
Good subject knowledge and curriculum understanding.
Strong behaviour management and classroom presence.
Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years with any gaps explained) and an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
