The Role - Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Junior Quantity Surveyor

My client are looking for a proactive, motivated Assistant QS to join them in their HQ in Chelmsford, Essex.

You will be confident using Excel, reading technical drawings, and negotiating with suppliers to achieve strong commercial outcomes.

You'll be responsible for:

* Assisting with budgeting and cost forecasting

* Managing procurement schedules

* Tracking materials

* Coordinating with suppliers and project teams

*Ideally at least 1 year in a similar role within the construction industry*
