Sales Administrator

Our client is a leading luxury retailer who are seeking a Sales Administrator for a 8/9 month contract period of time (expected to finish December 2026)

The role facilitates the smooth and efficient operation of the sales processes within their business and ensures a seamless supply chain journey. Interacting directly with the retail network, the position is primarily responsible for building and maintaining client relationships with a view to generating, receiving and processing stock orders and contributing towards maintaining consistent sell-through and stock representation in the retail network. This role necessitates strong administration and organisation skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

* Assists in managing the supply chain cycle, from order receipt to product supply.

* Analyses available reports to ensure retailers replenish stock and maintain product representation.

* Customer support - responds to client enquiries, resolves issues and ensures a positive customer experience

* Ratifies incoming orders against agreed retailer range plans.

* Compares internal sales data with retailer sales data to ensure alignment; liaises with retailers to resolve any discrepancies.

* Communicates incoming deliveries with retail partners and obtains purchase order numbers for shipments.

* Identifies special orders and coordinates with head office to facilitate priority deliveries.

* Tests system transactions following upgrades to ensure continued functionality and accuracy.

* Occasionally provides cover for invoicing duties and front of house reception, as required.

The Job holder will be required to operate in a technical, specialist or quality area of the organisation. The job requires a perfectionist who has an innate need to get things right. Formulas, facts, logic and system are also important aspects of the position. The person fulfilling this role should have the ability to work in a steady, thorough and deliberate manner and have the persistence to see a job through to conclusion. A questioning approach, concentration on detail and a non-assertive nature are also being called for within the position. This role will be somewhat analytical and demand a high level of quality control.

Essential

* Proven experience working effectively within a team, but also self-sufficient and able to work independently.

* Detail-oriented, proactive, and methodical—a perfectionist with a passion for accuracy.

* Strong interest in identifying and resolving anomalies or discrepancies.

* Minimum education at A Level, or equivalent.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience using advanced formulas.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
