Salary: £25000 / annually

Mosaic Recruitment have an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Support candidate to join a well-established organisation in Hertfordshire.

The successful candidate will strive to deliver excellent customer service and be proud to take responsibility for IT infrastructure provision, management and monitoring. This role will involve core working hours of 37.5 hours per week, but the post holder will also need to participate in a rota to provide out of hours support in accordance with SLA's and Saturday onsite presence are required. 


  • Provide unfaltering customer service to colleagues and customers and support their technology needs
  • Infrastructure incident and problem management
  • Day-today management of backups
  • Mobile device management
  • Troubleshooting of iPads and associated apps
  • Deployment, maintenance and ongoing support for all core infrastructures and systems
  • Robust documentation of all systems and processes
  • Monitoring of system performance and capacity
  • Work closely with the IT Systems Manager to design and implement efficient and effective working systems, reviewing and improving such systems over time as required
  • Remain up to date with all appropriate practices and regulatory requirements within allocated areas of responsibility and to undertake duties in line with established practices and protocols
  • Keep the Director of IT up to date and informed about all allocated areas of responsibility for ensuring any personal data held is kept securely

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to communicate effective at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Well organised with the ability to prioritise work to deadlines and whilst under pressure
  • Ability to work in a team and individually using own initiative
  • Logical though process with an accurate methodical approach
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changes to work schedule
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in all situations  
  • Organised and punctual
  • Confident, self-motivated and proactive
  • Enthusiastic with a keenness to learn
  • Honest, polite, reliable and resourceful
  • Proven experience of working in a similar, technical IT role
  • Experience of working to ITIL or another ITSM framework
  • Comprehensive understanding of wired/wireless networking and troubleshooting
  • Management of virtualised infrastructure and backups
  • Experience of MDM systems and iPads


  • Educated to degree level or equivalent work-based training
  • IT qualification or certificate
