Reed Business Support are now recruiting for a long-term Manufacturing client in their search for a Shipping Administrator to join the Logistics team.
Based in Chelmsford you will be reporting to the Logistics Manager and working alongside the Stock Control/Stores Operator teams.
This is a hands-on Shipping Administrator job, as well as dealing with all shipping paperwork you will be supporting in stores with packing. This is very much a team-based environment, when needed, all hands are on deck to support. You must be a flexible team player to excel here and support your colleagues.

Duties include;
- Preparing and processing documentation
- Coordinating with freight forwarders and couriers
- Tracking shipments
- Ensuring compliance
- Some Export administration
- Supporting in picking, packing and stock counting
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Existing Shipping Administration would be highly desirable
- Warehouse Administration experience is a close second, highly desirable
- Effective time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills for internal and external discussions
- Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks
- Computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Team player
