Field Service Technician - Water Treatment Systems
Location: Tamworth (with travel across the UK and EMEA)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 Hours per week

Salary: Up to £40,000 DOE

Are you an experienced field service professional with a passion for solving complex technical challenges in the water industry? Our client, a global leader in sustainable water treatment solutions, are seeking a Field Service Technician to join their After Sales and Technical Assistance team based in Tamworth.

Key Responsibilities as a Field Service Technician-

* Carry out mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control field service activities on-site.

* Prepare and commission complete plant installations, liaising closely with our technical department.

* Support aftersales through site audits, job planning, and coordination of subcontractors.

* Work with PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems for testing, commissioning, and diagnostics.

* Ensure compliance with all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) procedures and standards.

Key Skills as a Field Service Technician-

* Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience in mechanical/electrical field service roles.

* Background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (apprenticeship, HNC, or equivalent).

* Working knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS systems, and instrumentation.

* Understanding of mechanical and electrical installations (LCPs, transformer rectifiers, etc.).

* Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally when required
