This is a role where you’ll make a real impact. You’ll be at the heart of our SVQ Centre, ensuring colleagues across our services have the support they need to complete vocational qualifications. From coordinating with Employee Development Officers and finance teams, to organising meetings and preparing course materials, you’ll be the person who makes sure everything falls into place.
No two days will be quite the same. One moment you might be processing invoices or updating HR systems, the next you could be arranging venues for training sessions or ensuring everything is in place for an external verification visit. Whatever the task, you’ll be playing an important part in supporting the growth and development of our staff.
We’re looking for someone who can bring:
- Experience of vocational centre processes (such as SQA or Modern Apprenticeships) and ideally knowledge of the SQA ‘Navigator’ system.
- Strong organisational skills with a flair for prioritising and meeting deadlines.
- Confidence with MS Office, especially spreadsheets and databases.
- Clear, friendly communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Initiative and independence, balanced with a team spirit.
- (Desirable) Knowledge of HR systems such as CHRIS.
