Description

As the Design engineer you will be tasked with the following;

• Delivery of sustaining engineering and NPD Projects
• Creating and checking CAD models and technical drawings
• Performing pertinent actions in SAP (Raising EC's, BOM creation)
• Owning all stages of allocated projects from concept through testing, verification and launch
• Development of new/existing products, taking into account all aspects of user experience, technical specification and production implications.
• Providing innovative solutions to engineering problems.
• Maintain reporting of project statuses and actively partake in meetings and discussions

Profile

A successful Design Engineer should have:

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in using design software such as CAD or similar tools.
• A solid understanding of industrial and manufacturing processes and standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
• Experience working on cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
• An eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality designs.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to engineering design.
