About the Role

Are you a passionate and experienced leader in residential childcare? We’re looking for a dynamic Registered Manager (or Dual Registered Manager) to lead a solo-bed children’s home with 2:1 staffing in either Leeds or Bradford. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people in a supportive, forward-thinking organisation.

About the Organisation

Our client is a respected care provider in West Yorkshire, offering high-quality, Ofsted-regulated accommodation and support for young people aged 16+. Their mission is to empower young people to thrive through tailored care, strong values, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of a solo-bed residential home.
  • Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and the home’s Statement of Purpose.
  • Champion a culture of high-quality, trauma-informed care that puts young people first.
  • Act swiftly and effectively on safeguarding concerns.
  • Embed the organisation’s vision into all aspects of service delivery.
  • Inspire, lead, and develop a high-performing care team.
  • Oversee staff training and ensure it meets the evolving needs of young people.
  • Build strong partnerships with social workers, clinicians, schools, and other stakeholders.
  • Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and child-centred environment.
 What We’re Looking For
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in residential childcare within the last 5 years.
  • At least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Safeguarding and child protection
    • Children’s rights and development
    • Ofsted regulatory frameworks
  • A confident, compassionate leader with excellent communication skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence required.
