Commercial Manager - Defence

Summer-Browning Associates is currently assisting our client in the Defence Sector, who is seeking a Commercial Manager for an initial 12-month assignment, with the option to extend.

Location: Hybrid working - Porton Down, Salisbury

The ideal candidate will possess a proven background in Commercial Management, including the following skills and experience:

Experience with NEC4 contracting, including Engineering Construction Contracts (ECC) and Professional Service Contracts (PSC).
Proven experience in managing end-to-end commercial and procurement processes, from strategy development to contract award, particularly within the Defence and Central Government sectors.
Comprehensive knowledge of Public Contract Regulations (PCR) and Defence and Security Public Contract Regulations (DSPCR).
Familiarity with the Procurement Act 2023.
Knowledge of developing business cases in accordance with HM Treasury's Green Book framework.
