We are currently recruiting on behalf of an engineering consultancy in Glasgow, seeking a skilled Structural Technician for a 4-month contract.

On Offer for the Structural Technician (Contract)

Location: Glasgow, Scotland
Contract Duration: 4 months (with potential for extension)
Hourly Rate: £30 per hour (DOE)
Software Proficiency: AutoCAD and CADS RCKey Responsibilities:

Produce detailed structural drawings for various materials, including steel, reinforced concrete and timber, using AutoCAD and CADS RC.
Work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure designs meet project specifications and standards.
Maintain accurate and organised records of all drawings and revisions.
Conduct thorough checks to ensure all drawings comply with relevant standards and regulations.Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Advanced skills in AutoCAD and CADS RC.
Proven experience in structural detailing within a consultancy or engineering environment.
Strong understanding of structural design principles and construction methods.
HNC/HND in Civil or Structural Engineering, or equivalent experience.
