Are you an established KS2 Teacher? Are you currently seeking a full time teaching commitment?

An opportunity for a KS2 Specialist Teacher has arisen within a reputable Primary School in PRESTON, LANCASHIRE. EARLY CAREER Teachers and experienced Teachers are welcome to apply. The role is to begin from October 2025 and will be based within a Year 4 class, The Head teacher will seek to shortlist for interview based on hitting the following criteria:

-A teacher with Qualified Teacher Status

-Recent experience working as a class teacher in a KS2 department.

-Up to date knowledge of the LKS2 Curriculum and the pedagogy to support this.

-Strong behaviour management, strong classroom presence and awareness of school policies

-Flexibility to attend after school INSET sessions, staff meetings and extra-curricular clubs

The support for children on Free School Meals and the children who receive funding for Special Educational Needs is also excellent across school and monitored effectively by the dedicated SENCO. As a teaching member of staff, you will be well supported by the Head teacher and from the SENCO. Both are typically involved in the day-to-day running of the school and will ensure any adverse behaviour is dealt with accordingly in line with the school's policy.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
