Our SEN School in Isleworth is a multi-site Alternative Provision committed to transforming lives. We provide essential support for children and young people with complex needs, offering a vital service to families and schools across Hounslow.

We are looking for kind-hearted, compassionate Teaching Assistants to join our SEN Provision in Isleworth. If you believe that every child matters and are ready to make a difference, we want to hear from you!

Your Role:

As a Teaching Assistant at Career Teachers, you will:

🔹 Support students with Social, Emotional, Behavioural, complex mental health and medical needs, as well as those with SEND, including ASD.

🔹 Provide academic assistance, working one-to-one or in small groups inside and outside lessons.

🔹 Deliver off-site provision and personalised learning, as directed by teaching staff.

🔹 Offer social support, fostering confidence, inclusion, and self-esteem.

🔹 Assist students in developing appropriate behaviour and liaise with professionals such as Educational Psychologists.

🔹 Work closely with class teachers to devise effective learning strategies and maintain student records.

🔹 Help build strong relationships with parents/carers and contribute to student progress reviews.

Essential Requirements:

✔ Previous experience working with students in a supporting role.

✔ Strong behaviour management skills and ASD experience.

✔ Current certificates or willingness to train in Team Teach and First Aid.

✔ A commitment to safeguarding, child protection, and student wellbeing.
