Proposals Manager - Engineering Consultancy – South Cambridge – to C£75K Hybrid Benefits - UK Security Clearance

A Proposals / Bid Manager with a technical Degree and several years’ experience bidding in a technical service environment (Defence) will take on a customer facing role, with responsibility for managing and coordinating the full bid lifecycle process.

The successful Proposals / Bid Manager will be a key member of the sales team of a leading Technical Consultancy, where you’ll focus on Defence and Security.

Your background should include:

• A Degree qualification in Electronics, Physics or similar discipline.
• Experience in government procurement as well as business to business bidding.
• Proven experience of bidding in a technical services environment, predominantly in Defence.
• Preparation of commercial and technical bid or proposal documents.
• Experience of client contact.

The responsibilities of the Proposals / Bid Manager will include:

• Managing the full lifecycle of bids including support to Contract negotiation.
• Preparing and delivering compelling bid content and documentation aligned with customer requirements.
• Management of government frameworks.
• Liaising with legal teams on bid information.
