Tradewind Recruitment is proud to be working with a friendly and forward-thinking primary school in Derby to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher. This full-time role will commence in September 2025 and continue for the full academic year, with the potential to become a permanent position.
About the Role: As a KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that engage and inspire pupils in Key Stage 2. You'll be working within a supportive team environment, helping pupils achieve their full potential across a broad and balanced curriculum.
Key Responsibilities: -
Deliver creative and differentiated lessons aligned with the KS2 national curriculum

Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development

Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to monitor and promote pupil progress

Build strong, professional relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

Contribute to planning meetings, assessments, and wider school life
Requirements: -
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Recent teaching experience within KS2

Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks

Excellent classroom management and communication skills

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
