Salary: £55000 - £65000/annum depending on experience

Time 4 Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Electrical Engineer to join a national M&E and property Services contractor. Our highly reputable client works in a wide selection of sectors including residential, education, commercial, health and defence.
As Permanent Electrical Engineer you will be joining a brand new team and will be based out of their new Bristol office - over in Clevedon.
As a permanent electrical engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of services such as lighting, heating, and ventilation. Duties could include working at heights with power generating equipment.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
• Managing power generation, transmission and distribution
 Working with high and low voltage equipment
 Designing systems and products using computer software
 Working with renewable energy sources
 Managing and maintaining building services, such as lighting, heating, ventilation and lift systems
 Carrying out feasibility studies for new technical developments
 Drawing up project plans, making models, prototypes and circuit diagrams for high and low voltage electrical equipment
 Budgeting and estimating timescales
 Overseeing technicians and craftspeople
 Testing installations and systems
 Ensuring projects meet safety regulations
 Overseeing inspection and maintenance programmes
 Liaising with clients
 Managing maintenance programmes
 Working in factories, power stations, or research facilities, in a workshop, an office or outdoors.

The ideal candidate:
• Minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience of electrical engineering within the electrical contracting or utility industries
• Experience with managing projects from a similar industry
• Able to communicate and influence at all levels
• Able to work effectively whilst under pressure
• Able to assess and identify compliance shortfalls or engineering opportunities within designs
• Able to plan-ahead and prioritise workload
• Able to follow business processes whilst managing multiple time pressured tasks
• Degree, HND in Electrical Engineering or similar field (or working towards HND)
• Strong organisational, time management, IT (MS Office), and report writing skills, with excellent spoken and written English.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical and commercial information, negotiate effectively, and contribute to a dynamic team.
• Hold a current SMSTS and CSCS
