Quality Control Inspector

We are excited to offer a full-time opportunity for a Quality Control Inspector to join our Reverse Logistics Department at our Thatcham warehouse. This role is ideal for someone who can start immediately and is keen on ensuring the highest quality standards for electronic components in a controlled environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Perform detailed visual inspections of incoming electronic components to ensure compliance with strict quality standards.
• Accurately document inspection results, including photographic evidence, and ensure all product characteristics are well recorded.
• Identify defects and report nonconforming products in Global Trader, processing them according to procedural disposition instructions.
• Maintain accurate stock locations and update records in Global Trader.
• Prioritise and pick products based on daily priority lists.
• Adhere to ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions when handling components.
• Conduct authenticity checks and maintain tools and equipment, including meeting calibration requirements.
• Support and maintain quality certifications through adherence to internal procedures.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
• Interpret data sheets and technical documentation for accurate handling and inspection.
• Manage stock checks, movements, and consolidation tasks.
• Assist in preparing bulk shipments and support scrapping projects by segregating scrap items appropriately.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in visual inspection and handling of electronic components preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and data sheets.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience is preferred but not essential.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Forklift experience (Counterbalance or Flexi) is advantageous but not essential.
