The Role
This exciting role gives a confident English ECT the opportunity to lead their own classes across KS3 and KS4. You'll be responsible for planning engaging lessons, delivering high-quality teaching, and assessing student progress. You'll be encouraged to bring creativity to your teaching while developing your skills in a well-supported department that shares resources and ideas regularly.
 
The Candidate
The school is looking for a reflective and ambitious English ECT who is ready to step into full classroom responsibility.
 
You should have:

A degree in English or a closely related subject
QTS or be working towards achieving it by January 2026
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for English
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
A positive, proactive attitude and commitment to growth
