Salary: £30000 - £32000/annum plus commission

Our Pocklington based client is a leading manufacturer of products used in food processing facilities around the world.

As part of their continuing plans to expand their UK market presence they are looking for an additional motivated Key Account Manager to help drive growth.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage a portfolio of accounts, consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets.

· Handle customer interactions via calls, emails, and online chats, supporting the wider team.

· Process orders, quotes, and other customer requests efficiently.

· Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction.

· Address and resolve customer issues promptly, providing tailored solutions.

· Identify opportunities to upsell and expand account growth

· Collaborating with the sales team to maximise profit by up-selling or cross-selling

· Represent the business at trade shows where needed

· Conduct audits and business reviews during visits to key customers as needed.

Requirements

· Proven experience in a sales-focused role.

· Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills.

· Ability to thrive under pressure and solve problems proactively.

· Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.

· Experience with Sage platforms (desirable).

· A keen eye for detail with the ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently

· A full UK driving license - as the role develops in the future there may be the need for UK travel for client meetings

· The role offers hybrid working, therefore the successful candidate must live within an easily commutable distance of Pocklington due to working on site being expected a minimum of 2-3 days per week, with home working on the remaining days being an option, if you prefer!
