Prospero Teaching is recruiting for a passionate and engaging English Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Manchester this September. The role is full-time and will run from September to December 2025, with the potential for extension.

* Subject: English (Key Stage 3 & 4)
* Start Date: September 2025
* Contract: Full-time | September to December (possibility of extension)
* Location: Manchester
* Daily Rate: £162.31 - £251.71 (based on experience)

You'll be responsible for delivering engaging English lessons to mixed-ability groups across KS3 and KS4. The school promotes high expectations, a strong reading culture, and the development of critical thinking skills. You'll be expected to plan, teach, assess, and contribute to a positive learning environment.

👤 About You:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - ECTs and experienced teachers welcome
* Degree in English or a related subject
* Passion for English literature and language
* Up-to-date safeguarding & Prevent training (or willingness to complete free CPD with us)
* Commitment to supporting the wider school community
