Description
- Produce high-quality monthly operating expenditure reports and cost review summaries, ensuring completion within established reporting timelines.
- Deliver accurate management information for inclusion in quarterly performance updates and senior leadership reporting.
- Provide commercial analysis and insights to support decision-making for senior finance leaders and the executive team.
- Review and refine existing team processes and reporting outputs, ensuring alignment with updated chart-of-accounts structures and improved utilisation of available reporting tools.
- Lead the annual planning cycle, including budgeting and forecasting, ensuring clear and timely communication of expectations to all stakeholders.
- Manage, mentor, and support the FP&A Executive, ensuring they remain engaged, capable, and developing effectively in their role.
- Produce ad-hoc analysis, commentary, or reporting as required by senior finance and executive stakeholders.
- Ensure that external data submissions and formal information requests are completed accurately and within required deadlines.
- Build strong collaborative relationships across the Finance function to support seamless and coordinated reporting processes.
- Continually enhance management information, reporting tools, and analytical approaches to improve the quality of insight and support organisational decision-making.
Profile
- Brings strong management accounting expertise with a solid grounding in core accounting principles.
- Communicates confidently and effectively, engaging well with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Possesses a firm understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and demonstrates strong capabilities in Excel.
- Highly reliable, discreet, and professional when working with sensitive or confidential information.
- Experience working in a finance-focused environment is advantageous.
- Able to adapt to changing priorities and manage a diverse workload in a fast-paced role.
- Shows a proactive, self-driven approach with enthusiasm for learning, development, and taking ownership of tasks.
