The Role:
As an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, providing tailored support for students with special educational needs. Your role will involve supporting children in both individual and small group settings, ensuring they have access to learning and feel supported throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and small group support for children with SEN, ensuring they can engage with the curriculum

Work alongside the class teacher to implement personalized learning plans and strategies

Support children in developing social, emotional, and academic skills

Assist with classroom activities and manage behaviour to promote a positive learning environment

Observe and monitor the progress of students, offering feedback to the class teacher

Work with parents, staff, and outside agencies to ensure consistent support for each child

The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working with children with special educational needs, ideally within the EYFS setting

Is patient, caring, and committed to supporting children's development

Has excellent communication skills and works well within a team

Is flexible, proactive, and able to adapt to the needs of each child

Holds a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent)
