You'll be at the heart of creating precision components, setting up and operating CNC machines, prepping new products, maintaining tools, and keeping everything on track to meet deadlines. Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire

Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am - 5pm (4 day working week) - Overtime is also available X1.25

Hourly Rate: £18.00 - £22.00 Per Hour Depending on experience

Benefits: 25 days holiday including bank holidays, on-site parking, small family run, friendly team, lots of overtime available paid at X1.25.

Duties to Include:

* Program, set, and operate Haas and Bridgeport CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components.

* Create and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software ensuring efficient machining processes.

* Interpret and work from technical engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D models to determine machining requirements.

* Conduct in-process and final quality inspections using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, verniers, gauges) to ensure compliance with specified tolerances.

* Work to tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and precision.

Skills/Experience Required:

* Experience of CNC Programming, Setting and Operating machines.

* Experience with CAD/CAM programming

* Be keen to contribute to the expansion and development of the machine shop.

* Good communication skills.

* Strong personal motivation and commitment.

* Used to working to tight deadlines.

* Good communication and ability to work as part of a small team.
