Contek Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for an engineering client, based in Wednesbury. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Role Scope

Excellent job opportunity within the Maintenance Department at a well-established plastics manufacturing group within the West Midlands. The group specialises in the design, engineering and manufacturing of plastic extrusion, pressure sensitive adhesives, extrusion tooling, plastic fencing, low maintenance decking materials, plastic gates, glazing profiles, and plastic building products.

Working alongside a team consisting of Engineering Manager and Senior Engineer, you will be involved with servicing, maintenance, and repairs to their extrusion manufacturing lines and also looking after the daily tasks of factory and machinery repairs.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (07:00 AM until 16:00 PM) - 40 hours per week.

Salary/Pay: £38k - £40k per year (Dependent on experience).

Requirements

* Must have experience within electrical maintenance engineering.

* 18th edition electrical qualification.

* Must be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawings.

* MEWP license.

Training & Development

There are additional training and development opportunities available with the company, including courses such as Inverter Drives, PLC, Pneumatics & Hydraulics. Training will also be provided if required for Manual Handling, Working at Heights, Legionella, and Overhead Crane Operation
